I went to turn on my air conditioning the other day and ..... nothing. not even hot air came out. a/c compressor kicked on but nothing. For the past few months every time i turn on the heat or air it has been making a squeaky noise while running... i checked the fuses all check. I was wondering if it would be a relay or the blower motor itself.... if you could help me as to where the fan switch relay would be located i would greatly appreciate it... thanks in advance

 

Its probably a problem with the blower motor power stage or the motor itself.

My 01 s80 was doing that had to replace the resistor inside the blower. You dont really want to get a new one from Vovo as they are quite expensive. Got mine from erie volvo salavage yard in NY Phone is 800 441 3743 70.00 with shiping They send the whole blower no trouble since

 

thanks for the input, my friend rebuilds electric motors i will have him take a look at it and see what he can do... if not i will check out the place in new york
