Just received the button selector that opens the center console and it came with no directions to install. Can't believe I'm having problems installing it since it would seem pretty straight forward. Has anyone done this before and can help?

 

Pull the old one straight upwards to get it out, the new one (depending on whether yours is the two button or three button version) I remember having to pop in straight downwards while the larger cupholder was open. I believe I had to hold down one of the buttons during the process so the little arm could poke through the appropriate hole, if that makes any sense
