For some reason, the console on my S80 doesn't close properly. It latches properly, but when it is opened, it is hard to open. Its like the hinges are sticky. I am afraid to close it, because when I do, it slams from the amount of force that I have to apply to close it.

1) Is this common, or is it something that could have happened with the previous owners?

2)What should I do?
