My car is a S80 2001 2.9l with 168000

While showing my daughter to drive, we noticed that the dash gauges were all flipping out by moving to their lowest point, meaning the water temp when to zero, gas to zero, speedometer to zero. Then they pop back up to their original values. Also changing was the message screen as that also would show -- for remaining miles to empty. I restarted the car but the same symptoms came back.
I was low on fuel and decided to fill up. The dash continued cycling as I waited on line for gas.
When the tank was full, I restarted the car and no more dash flickering.
I hooked it up to my VIDA and no errors popped up.
Do I have a short ion my fuel pump wiring or a dashboard issue?

 

While flipping, does you car stall or stop or any errors on dash. If not then stick to the dash wiring where they are connected too and test the cluster as well. Hope not a big issue.
