Greetings.

I have a 2001 S80 which have started acting strangely. The doors doesn't lock when using the remote or turning the key around or pushing down the button on the passenger side. The car just unlocks the doors again, and this is becoming a nusiance.

 

I have a 2000 s80, what has worked for me for the same situation is turning the ignition to, I think it is, position 2, just 1 notch shy of start, and being sure the gear shift is in Park. try this, hope it works.
