ETM upgrade
I had to had my ETM replaced last year at 80k miles. I looked at my receipt and it says that they did the ETM reload after the installed the new part. I would like to know is there a diference between an ETM reload and and ETM upgrade. The car has 98k miles on it now. And can I just go to the dealer at anytime and get the ETM upgrade for free under the warrenty or does my car need to have some kind of a problem for me to get it done for free.
ETM Upgrade is the actual ETM, the Electronic Throttle Module (A.K.A. Electronic Throttle Body).
ETM Reload is the new ETM software that was needed.
This is how I see it, but I may be wrong. However I dobut I am.

So would you recommend me getting a ETM software now. I had my ETM replaced last october on my 99 S80 at 80K miles and the car has 98K miles now. Will and ETM software upgrade improve the performence of the car in any way.
