Here is my pic when I hit 100k in my 960. I had to get rid of it before I hit 200k.

Here is the 740 GLE I had with 405,000 on it when I sold it to a lady for $7.38. I was still driving my real estate customers around in it, still very nice.

Dash when passing 389,000

I searched all over but did not find my car's dashboard picture which I took last year.
Numbers were amazing
Millage: 144000 km
Temperature: 44C
Time: 4.44
Trip: 444KM

Akabond: I changed my car's timing belt two weeks ago, just change the belt, camshaft seals because rest all looked fine.
Lot of people suggested if you use original coolant Water pump lasts long up to 150K Miles.

But I suggested if possible change all, Idler pulley, tensioner, belt, seals, water pump.

Whenever I do a timing belt job, I usually have all parts on deck. Then I inspect the parts closely and decide what I'm going to replace. All parts over 10 years old gets replaced. Loose rollers get replaced, along with any leaking parts.

i like your DIY but i wished it was of 2.5T engines .
Funny thing happened. My next street neighbour has a S80 ( prolly 2004-2005) and last night i saw the car behind me with just one side high beam. I assume the low beams were blown out. It was around 10pm at night. i dont know them so i decided to visit them and talk to them about the problem(s) in the S80. When i knocked a lady answered and she got really mad that its 10pm and that i want to talk about her S80. yikes i felt so stupid. ya i know it was late (well not that late i think). plus my s80 was parked so they can see my S80. She got real mad about it.
i think my timing was wrong.oh well no more talking to them again. But what could i do i just love talking about S80 or any volvos i see especially in my neighbourhood .

hahahaha, I got the same feelings for Volvo owners but help with caution, 3 months ago V70 2008 taken aside by the driver with opened hood and I was passing by and thought to help since I always keep first aid kit with me with almost every kind of tools, but the moment I pressed the right indicator and about to stop near by....BANG!!!! behind two vehicles crashed into each other...lol..

Anyway wait for their another stop

We got bad bad drivers here ...I gave double indicators and then a single indicator to stop plus you know how many Volvo got brake lights...but still.

Also i was wondering what is this part. I am assuming it has to do with PCV system. Its because as i was removing the gas cap i accidently touched that piece and it came off. i got scared and put i back on. Does it easily come off like that ..no screws, clips or anything to securely it tightly??
And also if it does come off easily then can i clean the inside of pipe or anything??

PS : this engine looks dirty and all because it was taken like 2 years ago. Now its all cleaned and no oil marks

It is part of the PCV system. Time to change out hoses and Flame trap.

I had mine break off too. (2006 S80 2.5T with 102,024 miles) It was ok to drive for a little while if you like to clean oilly messes.
