Talking Found the S80 T6 for me! 3 Questions...

Found a beauty from a somewhat local (5 hour drive) Toyota dealership that has 77K on it. Exec model too!
Two questions:
1. It is missing the DVD player (screen still there). Can I use any portable player?
2. Since the mileage is over 70k, my Capitol One "Blank Check" cannot be used (I haven't verified the rules cannot be bent, but that is what it says), so where can I get financing if not through the dealer? I haven't tried through them yet, but my credit is fair to good. But, Capitol One said yes..
3. It has a non-stock, rather cheap, stereo. Am I missing anything from not having the stock stereo (like a center speaker or whatever)?

I really hope everything works out well to get this S80. I have been looking for sooooo long for a nice, clean, affordable Volvo S series!
Thanks!

Doht! Sorry... They are asking $9980 from a Toyota dealership. It is a 2002 S80 T6 in black with tan interior.
Here is the ad.
They are calling me in the morning to see about a hold deposit til I can drive over and check it out. I will make sure the deposit is refundable, and if not, that it is low low low. I've got two kids (9 & 6), so this will be a nice family fit.

not a bad price but I think you can still hammer them down on negotiation...

almost 2 yrs ago I paid $8,800 on the road (tax included) for my s80 2.9 with about 96,000 miles..

dont know about seattle, but the going price on a 2002 s80 2.9 with 77,000 miles here in florida is about $7700 now.. mint condition, no aftermarket radio etc..
I guess add in about another $1000 for the t6.. still leaves you about 1000 over...

id say find any flaw on the car and put a valuation on it, use that for negotiation.. then again, paying cash makes it harder to fight them

I'm wondering about the functionality of the rear-seat DVD setup. The player is missing and the stereo is aftermarket. That could be a deal breaker if it is not working. I'd hate to have the console back there that does not work.
On the other hand... It could be the point I need to get a good deal. I'm sure I could find a replacement or upgrade.

Here is a pulled unit on eBay...

Turns out the aftermarket stereo isn't all bad, HOWEVER, the video system has been gutted all-together. I will have to consult my little lady to see if it is that important.... Could be a bargaining chip.
Although, I may be back to the S60 I originally wanted from Florida! Ah well. Either way, I see a nice Volvo in my future!
