Hey Guys,
my sister just bought a 2004 s80. she had a 99t6 and we ended up keeping it b/c the trade in on it was pretty low, so now we have 2 anyway, her old one had the dolby stereo with the cd changer, the new one dosent. we were wondering how hard is it to upgrade? I know u gotta get the radio itself, then an amp under the pass seat and the center speaker. Is that all?

Don't know if it will help, but on my '04 S80, I stipulated the dog's bollocks of radios - complete with Dolby, 3 track, 6 CD autochangeretc, and cost me about £1000 ($2000) over and above the normal one that was fitted.
Unless one's hearing is as acute as a Bat's, (and mine isn't) it seems to me, that it's a total waste of money: I'vebeen in a friends S80, with the bog-standard radio unit, and I simply couldn't tell any difference between his and mine - EXCEPT he's £1000better off. WHY does everyone take advantage of me? Don't they know that I'm weak-willed, impressionable, STOOPID?
