S80 03 Yeap still smelling, tookup rear seat and removed cover to fuel pump. found leak it in the center of a cup shaped divided by4....+ btm=L section fills with gas then fills cup then over side of cup shaped return line then top off tank off theside after pooling on tank. Tried an poxy, fail after 3hr. curing. Can post photos of top veiw off pump. I think it going to have to be replaced. How do I unscrew, the ring to remove it.. Is there a standard fuel pump wrench????[&:]

 

There is supposed to be a special tool but some can get lucky using to big screwdrivers locked together.
Put the screwdrivers on each side and lock together and turn. But be very careful I have also see people snap off the line nipples doing it that way.
Also check for parts first last I heard the parts were on National backorder.
You will also have to take the divers side sending unit out and install a piece of rope on the hose and pull the rope through the tank and tie it to the new unit and pull the rope back through installing the new one.
