ok i got it dun.. thanks for the tip with the string on the harness to pull it through.. worked like a charm.. it was a pretty big pain but now that ive dun it im sure i could do it in a couple hours next time (hopefully there wont be one) i had a FULL tank of gas and when i took the unit out of the drivers side some came out cause its lower then the passengers side... i sat there for about 3 hours syphoning gas out to get it to a tolerable level... i replaced both O rings and then the retainer ring on the fuel pump side cause i busted that taking it out.. total cost was about $375.00 not too bad and it turns out the fule pump WAS the problem.. im at 1/4 of a tank and she screems now with no jerkies or hesitation...

i have a question however.. i was just sitting in the drive way for about 10 minutes with it running and i noticed the fuel gage went from 1/4 to ZERO all of a sudden.... i reved up the engine a tad and it went back to normal.. i went for a right and hit every bump i could and i couldnt get it to happen again.. what could have cause that.. i know i hooked all the plugs up nice a snug... maybe something within the new unit? or could it have been resetting its self?

also i have parts left over i will post a pic maybe tech can tell me where they go.

thanks!

ok heres what i have left over.. i cant figure out where they go..

Plastic or carpet? (Parts)

Maybe when you ran the wiring through the tank one of the floats were hooked on a wire and let go.
The computer calculates from both sides.

The carpet part should go like up in the seat hinge area.
Almost cover the seatbelt bolts.
