Default Help with S80 driver's window switch

I am really hoping someone can help save me some money with fixing my daughter's 2004 S80 driver's window switch. The driver's window will not go up or down. The switch seems dead. All the other switches on the master module are working so I know there is power. I tried replacing the switch with one I got from eBay with the same result. I have watched countless videos on resetting the window but that seems to be effective when the window still goes up and down but seems to have a mind of its own. I have also tried to see the connection between the door and body. I got the boot off and looked at the body side of the plug. It looked fine. I could not see the door side of the plug due to a lack of space even with the tether disconnected. I stopped short of taking the door panel off to remove the door plug for further analysis. Side note: after playing around with all this, she now has a "yellow warning" for her air bag. I suspect this has to do with disconnecting the switch multiple times and not an actual issue with the SRS system, just a hunch. I suspect I will prob have to have that light professionally reset. Any help you can offer would be GREATLY appreciated! I can only imagine how much it would cost to bring it to the dealer.

Need to get in with Vida to check modules. Could be window regulator.

Taking the door panel off would be the next step. You need to look around in there. Since it's the window that is used most the regulatormay have failed, ask your daughter if it made a clunking noise for a while before it stopped working.

Just the obvious...there are several connectors inside the door, were they all connected...wires checked? Mine are brittle all over the car at this point (2003). Other than that, I would consider the regulator...
