I recently bought a 2010 S80 T6 AWD with 136000k miles, 1 owner, almost perfect maintenance record. Just the other day, I was on the freeway and we had come to a decently hard stop but nothing crazy. From 60-30. After taking the exit, I started to notice a weird metal like scrapping/ low pitched roaring. Thought it was my rear brakes but after further inspection it wasn’t. The noise mostly happens when I am driving slowly and turning. It will keep happening whether I am on the accelerator or brake or neither.

Im thinking something in the rear suspension like a bushing but what else could it be? Any help is much appreciated.


edit: sound is definitely coming from the rear/center of the car. Sound is most prominent when turning slowly or coming to a stop and or starting from a stop.
