My 2001 S 80 2.9 non turbo just turned 89,000 miles What is your feeling on these auto tran? I can live with the small proplems I am having as I have learned to fix most myself. But the trans is another thing. I have had no problems (knock on wood) with it yet. Debating on tradeing it in What do you think. Do all the trans have problems or just a few isolated cases? THANKS My wife and I love the car.

Eventually you will have some problems.
If you love the car ride it out some.

 

Odds are you will have trans problems. However 01's are still better than 99's or 00's

 

Anyone know how to fix a problem of headlights burning out prematurely? I've replaced my headlights now 4 times in less than 3 months time. Any info greatly appreciated.
