Hello, 99 s80 144k miles and counting.

I do a lot of highway driving as I commute back and forth from Chicago to Columbus ohio every week or every 2 weeks. So is ok if I change the oil every 5K or 6k miles since the miles are highway miles instead on doing it every 3k miles.

 

Turbo or Non?

 

Its a 2.9 non turbo. Yea for the last 2 times I changed the Oil at about 5500 to 6000 miles but the miles are all highway. I put about 9K miles on my car in 2 mounths from commuteing back and fourth on the highway.

 

5K oil changes are fine. 3K is mainly for turbo cars.
