Hit a Curb??..
Yesterday, I hit a curb at 5-MPH. I was on a roundabout, very thick layer of ice, plus it was on a hill (Wasn't the only car that hit a curb on that roundabout). The rim and tire took all the damage. I was able to get a used rim, the tire was salvageable. The techs at Firestone, said a few things were bent, they also said the frame was bent, I have no idea what the frame is.... The car is drivable, but if you were to turn the steering wheel all the way to the left, the car stops. The alignment is bad... If you where to turn the steering wheel to the right, it makes a bad grinding sound, the techs said its rubbing against the tire wall of the car.
Oh, its the passenger front tire I hit. No body damage. Nothing is leaking. The Tire is no longer centered in thee wheel well.
The car is a 1999 Volvo S80 T6
Is there anything I should be looking for??... I am taking our volvo to an independent shop.

Depending on how hard you hit the curb, you could have some serious damage to your suspension and frame, and neither of these come cheap. The frame is basically what the entire car sits on, and is a intergral part of the safety of your vehicle.
A car's suspension and frame do a great job in a forward or reverse motion in terms of taking impacts, but they are very weak at angles and side impacts and will bend easily.
