How do you replace a turbo for a year 2000?
I recently purchased a volvo s80 t6, and the car has a lot of smoke coming out of it. The guy I bought it from said the mechanic he went to said he that the turbo on the passenger side needs to be changed, and thats the cause of it. I went to another mechanic today and he said that I also need to change the hoses to the turbo as well, and finally the timing belt. So, I had purchased a turbo and I was wondering three things: How do I change the turbo, how do i change the timing belt, and is there any other things I should worry about? Thanks to all in advance!

Just getting to the turbos is a job in itself, and changing the t-belt takes special tools (dowel pins ect.) Better off taking it to a trusted mechanic. The Stealership will own you soul if you take it there.
