i was given a nice race looking shift *** as a present and prefer it more than the original stock one but have no clue how to remove the stock one any one ever done this or does any one know how?

Was it made for the S80?
If not then it won't work on it.

If so then turn the top of the Boot where it meets the **** that will unlock the boot.
Then put the car in drive or nuetral.(With E-brake on of course)
Then Just yank really hard. Becareful when it releases you don't smack yourself in the Head.

CAUTION: Most of the time when you remove the shift **** it breaks it. So make sure you know the other one fits and it will be going on there.

 

Yea I agree with Tech, if it wasn't made for your s80 then it wont fit.
