Driving a 2004 s80 AWD and I'm finally making the decision to put a little work into it, do you guys think I'll see a difference in performance with these upgrades:

Ecu upgrade from Ipd- Sent it out yesterday
"Blue" Upper engine mount bushings from Evolve
"Blue" Upper engine stabilizer bushings from Ipd
K&N drop in air filter

I'm trying to stiffen things up in the engine with the new bushings because I noticed a lot of rocking when I rev up the engine.

That model is turboed right?

With an ECU upgrade yes you will see a difference. Now your car is heavy so it might be offset/

 

Yeah it's s 2.5t, the s60 2.5t gains about 35 horse power from this so I'm guessing I can expect the same kind of gains.

 

engine rocks always, but do you feel vibration inside ?

if you stiffen up the bushings you will feel more vibration in the cabin

 

Yeah, I recently upgraded my transmission mount with the blue bushings and there is some vibration but I'm more then used to it now and none of my passengers seem to notice until I point it out.

The vibration was so worth getting rid of all the shift shock from my warn out mount.
