Default Instructions for sway bar '01 S80 T6

The dealer says I need new front and rear sway bars. I was considering attempting this myself. Is this a task that a novice can do? (I've change the alternator on this car and that is the extent of my mechanical knowledge).

I am told that it is just a couple nuts and you are done. This is extremelely hard for me to believe.

Does anyone have any instructions or advice on how to go about this? Step by step preferably

Thanks in advance for any help.

What is wrong with the Sway Bars?

Do they mean sway bar links?

If they do mean sway bar endlinks don't go with stock ones. Go with QuickBrickMotorSports ones (QBM).

Tech, You were right it is the Sway Bar links. Both the front and rear "are loose". The Front upper spring seat is also loose.

While I have the car up the "front flame trap box" and "turbo seals" are leaking oil. Should I leave this to the professionals?

The swaybar links are easy.
The spring seat is so so if you have replaced struts already.

The Vent box and turbo return line o-rings leave to them.

It takes me about 2 hours or more just to do the turbo return line o-rings on these cars.

I will give it a shot. A little plug for QuickBrickMotorsports. It appeared that all of their parts include detailed instructions for the repairs required. That's worth about $500 in my book, since that is the amount that the dealership would have charged for labor.

Thanks for the help.
