Hi guys, noob here. I just picked up a 2000 S80 and I'm looking to change the look of the car a bit. My question is, did Volvo release a sport edition of the car or something similar. Ive been searching for an OEM body kit from Volvo but no luck yet. any input would be greatly appreciated thanks fellas.

Example: Audi released the b6 a4 in base model and ultra sport edition.

No, Volvo did not release a sport edition or one with a body kit. Volvo's are not a very "all show" type vehicle.

 

First - The following are my opinions and should not be confused with those of rational person.

1) The S80 is a really good looking car- but it is not a "sports car" and no amount of stuff will make it into one. Think Sedan De ville w/ Crager mags.
2) Volvo's make poor 'ricers'. I suspect that the aesthetic differences between the Swedes and the Japanese may be at the root of the matter.
3) One of the joys of Volvo ownership is laughing at the punk in his ricer next to you at the stop light you just beat him to by 5 car lengths, while he trys to explain to his buddy how that old man car just waxed his butt

That said, there are some lowering options out there that look really good.
