You do have an old car, 10+ years so, the CEL is likely for an entirely different issue. Get that read at an auto parts store or by a mechanic to see what's going on there. How many miles do you have on the car?
Mine has the same problem . saw a small puddle on the ground near passenger side. First saw the puddle then the next day the low coolant warning came on . I added 50/50 coolant and then tonight the check engine light came on .doesn't get hot . 2000 s80 4.4L t6 with 145,000 Miles
