Need help regarding a transmission problem on my moms 2000 w/140k. She had the trans replaced about 20k ago. She now is having a problem getting the car into gear. Says on occasion ( nothing seems stuck) it won't catch when shifted into reverse. She has too wiggle the shifter a bit to get it into gear. I also believe once she couldn't start the car until she played around with it to get it securely into Park. Any ideas you could pass along? Thanks.

 

Seems like the shift linkage needs to be realigned. Get the shifter and the trans in sync.
