New S80 owner!
Hey everybody, I'm James. I just bought a 2000 Volvo S80 T6 with 105k miles for $2200! I hope that's a decent deal. It's a project for me.. has a few problems, I'll list them below but I just wanted to introduce myself and I'm hoping to get some good info and help fixing all the little things on this car. I'll post some pics this evening. I'm familiar with forums and I know to use the search function
Here are the problems I can tell so far, thanks in advance for any help or at least steering me in the right direction.
1. CEL: P0030 (02 sensor, right?)
2. SRS airbag needs "urgent service"
3. Missing a few interior/exterior trim pieces (speaker grill, tweeter cover, cup holder cover, window trim)
4. Paint needs to be rejuvenated
5. Headlight wipers are gone
6. Sunroof won't open (switch doesnt work)
7. Power locks don't work right (buzzes when doors open?)
That's all I can think of, I don't expect you all to spoon feed me solutions to all these problems I just wanted to put that info out there so if anyone had tips/tricks, they could share them with me. Thanks again!

s80 faults
hi james
word of advice check bolts between manifold and turbo they tend to loosen with time causing lots of unwanted power loss
check front engine mount
check the wiring that runs over tranny heat makes the isolation crack lots and lots of problems when they start shorting
check sunroof fuse they blow easily if its sticky .lubricate rails
remove door panels and clean all electrical connection (mirrors ,locks and windows)
hope this helps
ggod luck
