Yesterday I heard a loud pop in the roof of my car. Every time I go over a bump now I hear a thump from the roof. Tryed the sunroof while it works it seems to be in a bind and makes all kinds of sounds. Noticed to day when I close the door the sunroof glass will move up and down a small amount. It does not leak but is it possible the track broke or something along that line. Any ideas. Thx

 

i dont know but i know my sunroof makes a suction noise like its not held down properly when going about 120mph.. i think maybe they did not secure it well enough. its almost like the wind going over it creates a vacuum and sucks it loose and out..

 

Does it tilt up at all?

 

I actually have a problem of my own, not sure how its related but recently when I put the sunroof to close instead of stopping when closed it goes all the way up to where it tilts up the rear.. so I have to fiddle with it until I get it closed... once or twice i heard a loud knocking noise from it when i tried closing it also...
I guess its just being moody but I will get it checked out soon...

 

My sunroof doesn't tilt in the back anymore... but the only problem I had with it was the sunroof was stuck open, and the problem was the ribbon tape came out of the switch and I plugged it back in and it works ... it jus doesn't tilt up in the back for the vent option.. "no biggie" at least I don't get wet when it rains.
