Exclamation Power Lock/ Siren update

Well I installed and used Alarm Siren and now the sun roof works!!! Simple alarm 3 wires hard to belive this stops the sun roof!!!
But the remote controls still do not lock or anything. The dealer ran the remote passed a gizmo and said they are good. So what is my next stepI did get the odd Alarm system service light on, should I disconect the battery to celar this? Do I have a sequence of events I must do to program?

Have you tried the remote after locking and unlocking the car with the key?

Yes I did and no luck. Also tried disconecting the battery and holding the terminals togeather for 5 min then reconect with the ignition on then off then lock and unlock then remote!!! but still no go!!! I am wondering if these are the correct remotes? I have 3 2 of them that Volvo said work have the same number on the back but the one that doesnt has a different number. I think I will try to install a new battery in that one

Using the remote push lock then unlock, lock then unlock, lock then unlock. This is supposed to reset the Upper Electronic Module after the siren is replaced.

Default What component in the alarm system did you replace?

Hi
My sunroof has also stopped working and now I get an occasional message stating alarm service required. Sometimes remote FOB works, other times it does not. I tried unplugging and re-plugging in the ribbon cable to the roof switch and all connectors on the board the switch is mounted to but it did not help.
What component in the alarm system did you replace?
Did you have to take it to a dealer to have them attach it to their computer to reactivate the alarm?
Thank you Dennis

Usually this means that the siren module needs to be replaced. Here's how: http://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/for...p?f=11&t=17479
