I'm trying to install satelite radio modulator and thru this forum have found clues and pictures but I still can't get the radio out! Shift cover is off, AC control I can tilt but it won't slide down or out. Seems to be securly attached to bottom of radio by stiff metal band? Any more help out there? Thanks

 

i have not done this yet but am going to be doing it soon but if i am thinking right the ac should come horizontally out ----- not up and down have some of those clips but dont try pulling to hard if i get to it tomarrow ill post details if you can wait..

I bought a tool called an apolstery (sp?) remover. It helped me pop off the plate around the gear shift.

Things to watch for:
The screws get lost easily if you drop them.
Remove the fader ***** before removing the face plate. I lost 1 of them.
