Search the forum for S80 resets as there are a number of previous threads on how to do this. The short answer is 'yes', you can do a sequence of button pushes / ignition turns to reset the SERVICE indicator.

Hi guys..there is a thread about reseting the message indicator and i've tried a few times but nothing's happening...turn the key on position 1,hold the odometer down until the beep and a code came up ..045..after that the message pops up again..hope nothing major and no trip to the dealer..any comments welcome..
thanks again for the reply

Not sure about the '03 models as the sequence seems to be slightly different for each year. I've read where the '02 models have to have a non-zero value (ie: at least 0.1 miles) on the trip odometer for the reset sequence to work.
