Well we know one thing this proves. It proves that our engines are nearly indestructable. I just saw another video and the engine seized in about 30 seconds.

Note, this isn't just about running an engine fully open throttle, they also added stuff to the engine to make it seize. The car didn't even seize though, they shut it off because of the fire, the engine was ruined no doubt, but it could have still been ran.

Another thing, noticed how the dick was trying to break off the navigation screen in the car?

consider though, these cars only let you rev to 4000 instead of say 6000 or 6500, possibly helping to keep the engine going a bit longer...

Look at the other s80 t6 video and look at the ridiculous amount of smoke and pollution created to try to kill off a superb engine... idiots

If you put it in park and gun it, a rev limiter kicks in around the 4K mark. Put it in neutral however and its open season. IIRC the programme calls for the motors to have the oil drained, drop in some silicon silicate and hold the motor at 2000 RPM. I dont think nailing it was part of the proceedure.

I'm pretty sure the "needy" aren't going to be able to afford the upkeep on an S80. I agree though, what a waste at least part them out...
