Shifter problems.
I have an issue with my shifter - it's NOT the Geartronic transmission.
The button s very reluctant to be depress. You can fiddle with it and it will eventually free up and then sometimes it works smooth as the day it was new.
I had this issue withmy S70 and it was an easy fix but the ubiquitous parts for the 850/S70 is not the same and I can seem to finf the part online for the S80. IPD does have a complete shifter and while I am not happy shelling out over a $100 dollars, it does not match - mine is woodgrained and theirs is leather covered.
I guess I could buy a bucket of Vasoline and head over to my loving, kindly dealer but I'm not really sure if I need just the button, something inside it, or the whole damn shifter.
