I have a 1999 volvo s80 that was originally bought from canada and is now in the usa. The speedometer is reading in KM and I would like to change it to MPH. I bought a MPH gauge cluster and I was wondering if I can change the numbers only (take out the gauge and replace it with the old one) and not the whole speedometer because then my mileage would read wrong?

Check with local Dealer and see what they can do to set the computer.
You can't just change the sticker because it won't read right.
