I have seen the SRS reset tools selling for around $200. Has anyone bought one of these to reset the SRS message and if so was it hard? Will the dealer reset it for free, like they do that!! Tripped an arch while checking fuses. If someone wants to swap some shipping and green, if it is easy, id give it a try. Thanks.

 

I dont know about the tool, however my dealer wants 40 just to read the code, then depending on what i did to mine(installed power wire cable too close) they will charge me more for that. Volvo dealers are evil! So good luck, and post what you found out so I might be in for saving some $$$ Thanks!

 

I have found that if you try and play it cheap by doing your own work, it can end up bitin you in the a$$! I will pay a little extra to now that it's being done correctly, and then if that issue occurs again, I can hold them accountable (the dealership) for the work.
