Default synthetic oil

I switched my 99 S80 to synthetic oil when I bought it with about 35,000 miles on and my 99 S70AWD was switched with about 40,000 miles. WHen can I switch my 2006 S*) AWD, it currently has 2600 miles. The dealer said not until about 15,000 miles after the breakin...

I disagree TECH. Many new autos (Corvette, BMW) come with synthetic from the factory. I put synthetic in my c70 when it had about 2,000 miles and same for a new Mazda that my wife operates. In fact, I replaced the "factory" oil with synthetic in at least the last ten new autos that I have purchased.

There was a reason Behind what I said. He didn't specify if he had Free Factory Maintance.
If he has it then he Has to go buy the Dealers word or Pay the eXtra $$$.

Thats why I said that.

If it were mine I would have changed it already to.

But thats one good and bad thing about me sometimes. I do stuff like this to try to prove a point.

Sometimes all the info isn't given upfront and I short answer to get more info. Then we can solve the problem or help out our best that way.
