Just seeing what brand and weight of oil 3.2 owners are using....

Well i have a 2.5T so i am saying it anyways
sticking with the manual= 10W30 and S80 prefers Castrol however i have been putting in full synthetic for like 2 years now. and so far no problems and getting around 21.8 on city

 

I saw Volvo Recommens Castrol on the oil cap and on a sticker in the engine bay, so I figured I would stick with it. I am using Syntec 0W30.

 

mobil1 5w 30 synthetic.. 1st time I SWITCHED FROM dino oil I LET THEY DEALER DO IT.. AT 60K MILES.. SO i would have a record of it. EVEN THOUGH THE NEW S80'S ALL USE SYNTHETIC AND THEIR SERVICE INTERVAL SWITCHED TO 10K MILES, MY DEALER TELLS ME MY SERVICE INTERVAL IS STILL 7500 MILES. fat chance he sees me at 67500 more like 69,000-70k. oil is still clear now at 68,000 miles
