Just changed my wiperblades and installed bosch blades Ther is no way to fasten the long weight looking thing that is on the drivers side wiper. What is it for and is it needed on the new bosch blades? 2001 S80 THANKS

 

Was it attached on the old blade?

 

Yes it is about 14 inches long and attached to the old blade with 4 set screws it is removeable and fairly heavy there is no way to attach it to the bosch blades It is on the drivers side only

 

I wouldn't worry about it then.
