Mystery vac hose
Hey, i'm new to this forum but have read a lot and solved a few issues with my 98 V40 T4 so thanks to everyone that posts!!
My wagon has been pretty sluggish recently and I think its either my turbo not playing the game or my auto transmission but I thought id try eliminate a few of the smaller things before I get to excited and start pulling bits off!
I had a sneaky suspicion that I have a vacuum leak somewhere so I ran a bit of LPG/CNG around the vac lines and found that theres a hose (pictured) that has a big leak because of a cracked plastic sleeve where it sits in the intake manifold. I can find the part number and have no idea what its called to order a new one!
I have a boost gauge and it reads -7 when idling in neutral -6 when in drive and hits 0 when its about 2500 rpm does this sound right?
It almost feels like a slipping clutch when I floor it..
Any other suggestions about why it would be sluggish most welcome.
Any help would be appreciated
