Roaring noise from aux belt tensioner
Hello
A strange sound/noise has occurred on my V40 2.0t 2001. When driving at low speeds with an engineRPM between 1000 and 1500 RPM and no matter what gearIĀ“ve put in aroaring sound comes from the engine when I accelerate gently. I have located the noise coming from the belt tensioner for the auxiliary belt. When putting load to the engine with the handbrake set,the belt and belt tensioner jumpsrather violently creating the sound. The beltand the belt tensioner are new (original volvo parts)and the pulley bearings for a/c, alternator and servopump are ok.
Anyone havingany ideas what the problem can be?
