Specific V40 phase 1 air/sweat/fog problem
Hello all,
I'm driving a 1998 V40 1.9TD with a very annoying problem. Very often, especially when it rains, the windows of the car get not just foggy, they actually sweat (collect water) on the inside. No matter what kind of cloth I'm using and how much the blower blows on max speed - it only gets (partially) away if I turn the AC on. I've also seen water collecting in the backup tire compartment as well as over the trunk cover. I also recently mentioned that when I'm using a windscreen cleaner with a certain aroma, I can't smell it inside the car, which usually happens with any other car I've driven.
Just to mention - my Volvo doesn't have an air filter next to the blower. I've also checked under the plastic below the windscreen (on the outside) and I didn't see any leaves or anything else clogging the intake pipe. The blower itself works well, no strange noises are coming out of it.
Where should I look for the reason? Any comments and advice are welcome
