Hope someone can help. I have a 2004 V40 and the climate control fan will not switch off. Everything else works fine (Air con cools the car, heating warms up), but the fan will not stop running, if I turn the control to 0 it does slow down slightly, but generally it is running fast.
Any suggestions please.

 

This is a fairly common fault on the S/V40 caused by a breakdown in the heater resistor. Sometimes it goes the other way and the blower does not work at all.
