OK, onto my next problem. I have not read any codes but will do soon. My problem is that I have great air con when it works, it turns of intermittently and then back on. The light on the climate control unit turns on (air con off) then a click is heard from the glove box area and then the air con turns back on, click of click on. I have done the re shimming of the aircon, Any ideas?

 

Tech?? JPN?? Could it be a relay that is clicking on and off? or perhaps a thermostat. Definitely coming from the glove box area. Pllllllleeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaasssssseeeeeeee help

 

The relay you are hearing is the A/C relay. It could be a bad relay or a bad ECC controller. Check the voltage between the Yellow/Grey and the Blue/Black wires and see if the voltage drops off as the relay cycles. If it doesn't the relay is bad if it does I would suspect that the controller is bad but there are other inputs that may be telling it to turn off the relay.
