Belt or Chain????
I recently bought a 2005 V50 2L diesel, the garage told me it had a chain so did not need to worry about belt changes, now my own garage tells me it has a belt and needs to be done
....can someone enlighten me an tell me which is it?

Do you have a picture of this 120000 cambelt change advisory in the guide or can specify the page? I cannot find this?
I have 124 k miles
New prob .. While accelerating up mild hill vibration at 40mph feels like it's under.. Car. Duh ....I let off the gas a bit and it subsides .. No problem at high speeds..
Needs timing chain ??? I am taking it to dealer for 120k tune up and diagnosis
Has anyone had this problem?
It has been impossible for local mechanics to diagnose ! Will have to drive it 150 miles.. Yikes
Any input appreciated

OTOH, I don't think that would cause the vibration. Perhaps it's a spark issue. A DiCE / VIDA scan will show if there have been any events in the recent past.
