Default Grinding noise

Just bought a low mileage V50 with impeccable service records through Volvo dealer. I mean this guy even logged when he checked tire pressures.

I'm not used to driving diesel cars and am getting used to the new engine note.

But I swear I can feel a grinding sensation through the accelerator and also from the drivers floor. Sometimes I think it is just the diesel characteristic but then I'm not so sure.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

Default Grinding feeling

Hello.

I have an XC60 recently purchased in January which again perfect history from the same garage it was sold at oringinaly

I also have the same feeling through the accelerator. Mine started after I had to get the power steering rack changed.

I had my car recovered today and taken to the dealer to be looked at. I should hear back on Monday. I will let you know how I get on
