I have a 2007 V50, a few weeks ago the hatch locked and would not open or unlock, i remedied that issue by messing with the buttons on the remote. Now the hatch opens every time i turn the car off. Any ideas?

Probably a good idea to reset your remote. Should clear the issue.

 

mike Ill try that, do you know of a quick way to do that?

 

Not 100% sure buts try removing the battery from the remote. Leave it for 10 minutes and replace battery. I've had some funky things go on when the battery in the remote is running low as well (only one side of the car unlocked with the remote). Replaced the battery and all was well.

bTW, if u need there are some YouTube videos on how to replace the battery on the remote. And go to a computer components/electronics store for the battery. They sell them there for peanuts compared to dealers or other retailers.
