Default Left Low Beam Headlight Problem

First thread!

My left low beam headlight will have a failure and turn off, then when I go to start my car again it will be on. Is this wiring issues? I noticed that when I drive sometimes the dash and media screen will flicker and surge on and off, this I believe would be the alternator. I just wanted to get some help to see if both problems are related to one solution.

Do you have HID or halogen low beam bulbs?

HID has a ballast - like a fluorescent bulb, and either the bulb, connections or ballast can cause erratic operation. If so try to swap ballast and bulb side to side to figure out what's bad. (ballasts are several hundred dollars 31214562, 31214563 part numbers)

The halogen bulb is an H11, and they suffer from a melted connection where the bulb is plugged in. A replacement pigtail is sold to solve that.

They are HID, thank you for the reply. I will try and swap them.
