I just purchased a 2006 V50 and I was wonderring what is the process for resetting the regular service/ maintemance required iundicator light that I undestand will should up at 12,000KM's intervals.?

I usualy performe most of the regular service myself and this is the first Volvo I own and I must admit I am quite impressed with the vehilcle perforce to date.

 

1. Press and hold trip odometer reset button
2. Turn ignition key to run position KPII (not the start position)
3. Wait 30 seconds or until service light begins blinking
4. Release Trip Odometer button
5. Turn ignition to off position

Read your Volvo warranty carefully, Make sure you use a Volvo oil filter and save your receipts. Intermediate and major services should be done by the dealer to avoid warranty hassles.
