1998 V70 T-5 Intermitent directionals no head lights..HELP!

1998 V70 T-5 Intermitent directionals no head lights..HELP!
Hi All,
I am loosing directionals and (now we know at night) headlights at the same time.. It happens only once and a while but is increasing in frequency. I have hazards..but don't know if anything else insn't working when it happens..if I stop the car turn it off and back on they work.. Haven't found any correlation to weather or climate.. My volvo guy replaced the hazard relay and it still happens..
Any ideas?? It a manual transmission with 147,000 miles, Like to find the answer soon!
