Default 1998 Volvo V70 2.4 turbo AWD

Hi there people, Was wondering if anyone has had a problem with their V70 misfiring whenever it feels like it? Sometimes its fine and other times it will do it three or four times on a run? Changed plugs, Ht leads, coolant Temp sensor, Temp Stat, Fuel filter, Air filter. Had it plugged in but ther was no errors or error history on e.c.u so i dont know can anyone help? Also does anyone know the front tracking settings for a four wheel lazer tracking system? kind reguard Ben.

I didn't see cap/rotor in your list. Can I assume "Ht leads" stands for "high tension leads", aka spark plug wires?

Some more context would also be helpful; e.g. does it misfire under heavy load, feathered throttle, etc.

Yeah i havent changed them as they weren't very old as i took them off the 850 before i had sold it and put them on the v70. Usually the hick up happens on slow torque accelerating not flooring it, it is very annoying. Also can a worn steering rack cause the steering to come out of track?

Default Missfire

I had this on mine, would miss fire stop and the engine management light would come on. I found that the positive lead to the battery was poorly connected and only giving 12 volts not the full 14 from the alternator, a new clamp sorted the problem and never had a miss fire in 4 years.
