Default 1998 Volvo V70 XC strut

Anyone ever use the Gabriel G57040 ready mount strut assy. on a 98 V70 XC ? It's a big saving in cost 139.00 on Amazon. Vs 400 to rebuild the strut. Any advice is always helpful.''

Default No HELP ?

I just bought 2 . I picked up a S70 base model with 110K needs some work. For 800.00 I'm going to install them In the S70. I'll let everyone know how I make out. It would be great if I could put a set in the 98 XC that we have.

I've used them in other cars but not a Volvo. They are good for an OEM quality ride. I like it a little firmer but the average person is very happy with them.
