98 V70 XC passenger door lock (posted in Nov 2010)

My door lock stopped locking the door, The activator seems to move and the door looks like it is locked, but it still opens from the outside and sets off the alarm, Any suggestions for a DIY'er.

You need to replace the lock/latch assembly. They very commonly go bad.
