98 V70R Idle Problem
My car has a very intermittent idling problem. According to the OBD2 device it idles at 840 RPM quite steadily. Every now and then it will experience a very quick stumble, real rough like it would stall then right back to normal. This stumble lasts 1/2 a second or less and throws no codes. MAF, idle control device? Anyone experienced this before? The car does have a P0410 problem, the A.I.R. system is acting up. I have been clearing the code and it will run for a week or more before turning the light back on. Don't kniow if this is related. Idle seems rough to me, but I have no prior experience with 5 cyl engines.

RE: 98 V70R Idle Problem
Actually, no. I know where the throttle body is, where's the idle control motor? I'll take apart every thing in the throttle area and clean it. CRC is making something for cleaning MAF's and I'll do that too. Maybe a set of plugs, cap rotor and wires to boot. Got any strong preference for a plug type for the turbo motor? I've got a set of Bosch plugs that have the right numbers, but am curious if there ae any great benefits to those $12.00 iridium plugs.
Thanks for the information.
